Student Quant Trader

Our systems run 24/7, which means our platform must be robust, scalable and resilient, and we treat data as a first-class citizen in everything we do.

We’re now looking for a Student Quant Trader to support our quant team and help push our algorithms and tooling forward.

What you’ll do

As a student worker, you’ll be an integrated part of the quant/engineering collaboration – not “just” a helper. You will:

• Assist in the development and oversight of trading algorithms and strategies.

• Build and maintain with Python tooling for analysis, monitoring, sanity checks, and workflow automation (e.g., performance tracking, data validation, quick diagnostics).
  

• Support our quant traders with ad-hoc analyses, data extracts, and “fast answers” when time is tight.
  

• Work hands-on with real-time and historical trading data hosted in GCP.
  

• Improve reliability in a 24/7 trading setup by strengthening observability, alerts, runbooks and operational checks.
  

• Connect the dots between quant needs and production systems by collaborating with the engineering- and data team on integrations into our cloud-based multi-service platform (primarily Node.js and C#).
  

Who you are

You might be a great fit if you:

• Study finance, economics, computer science, software engineering, data science, mathematics, physics, or a similar quantitative field - but with a strong business mind.
  

• Are strong in Python.
  

• Are confident in Excel (structure, pivots, models, debugging).
  

• Like taking ownership and finishing tasks end-to-end (from “idea” to something the team trusts and uses).
  

• Communicate clearly in English and enjoy working in a small, focused team.
